I have been a full spectrum doula for over 15 years

Style of teaching

Approaching birth work with a social justice lens. I teach doulas how to advocate for their clients and how to teach their clients to advocate for themselves. We talk boldly about the issues that pregnant people of color and queer pregnant people confront in the perinatal period and how to best support them and hold space for them throughout their pregnancy, labor, and postpartum.
