Meager Beginnings Services Postpartum Doula Training

This course will prepare you to be with families during in their postpartum period (0-6 weeks) and often several months following the arrival of their new baby/babies. It includes all the aspects of the postpartum period from practical feeding skills, to understanding the postpartum person’s body, skills to support the family as a whole and much more. Our society provides very little care for new families. Having a trained eye and calm presence in a home in the early days is invaluable. Postpartum Doula care is proven to improve breastfeeding success, family bonding, and ease many postpartum stresses that families might face. This Doula course will meet all training requirement for certification or re-certification with Meager Beginnings Services and successful students will receive a lifetime Postpartum Doula Training Certification.
