Equitable & Compassionate Care for Pregnant & Parenting People Affected by Substance Use Disorder

Learn about evidence-informed approaches and systems that improve health outcomes of pregnant & parenting people with substance use disorders, including promoting the use of medication for opioid use disorder. Learn best practices on caring for newborns with neonatal abstinence syndrome or neonatal opioid withdrawal syndrome. Reduce barriers to care through compassion, reducing bias and equitable practices. This event is geared towards medical providers, nurses labor & delivery specialists, NICU/PICU hospitalists, midwives, doulas, lactation consultants, social workers, public health professionals, treatment & recovery providers, and support services.
