The Doula’s Role Supporting Decisions for Maternal Immunization: Navigating Vaccine Conversations

The doula webinar series is aimed at highlighting the significance of vaccination and the role of doulas in supporting pregnant patients while answering questions on the topic. Doulas are a key member of care teams for some pregnant patients. In this webinar, we will highlight the application and use of resources for doulas while working with pregnant people. Join our speakers as they discuss vaccines and other tools that can assist pregnant people as they approach decision making on maternal immunization. Learning Objectives: 1) Highlight the practical tools and resources to empower doulas to advocate for their patients when it comes to navigating conversations related to maternal immunization. 2) Address the most common concerns and ambivalence around maternal vaccines and equip doulas with the tools to navigate these conversations.
