Washington State Certified Doula Training

The Doula Team LLC offers in person WA State Certified doula training which will be 4 days long and a total of 32 hours. We will also provide the 4th 8 hour day of Childbirth Education and Lactation that is required for WA State Certification as a Doula. These training sessions will give participants the knowledge and confidence to start supporting families as a doula. The Doula Team doulas will have in-depth knowledge of the labor process and variations, pain management techniques, complications, comfort measures, emotions of the family, and the Doula scope of practice. The Doulas will also gain knowledge of childbirth education, newborn procedures and care, lactation, and the main aspects of the business side of being a doula.
