My husband and I absolutely loved having Brittany as our doula!
From our first meeting with her, she was ready to give support in any way I needed. She took time to get to know the type of support I felt I would need during labor. She sent me resources (apps, websites, Instagram accounts, and a list of providers for various services) I needed to prepare during the last few weeks and days leading up to our delivery. She also sent some things I would need after giving birth.
She would send me texts to check in and offered suggestions of different things I could do to help move things along.
When I was in labor, she came to my house and immediately offered hands on support, pressing on my low back to help me get through contractions, giving gentle reminders on breathing techniques, and offering different positions I could try.
When my midwife said I could come to the birth center, Brittany came as well. There she continued to offer hands on support, gave verbal encouragement and reminders, and held my hand. She was FANTASTIC!
This was my first baby and the whole time myself and my husband never once felt worried or afraid. We knew we were in good hands.
