She helped me think through questions to raise with my provider, encouraged me in my ability to have a VBAC, and gave me tools on how to prepare my body for birth. During labor her support was vital in having an unmediated birth. She talked me through contractions and coached me during pushing. I am thankful to say I was able to have an unmediated VBAC and I know that was in part due to Alyx’s help.
