The birth of our son was the most amazing moment of my life, and it was through the awe inspiring 48 hour labor that God pulled back the curtain and revealed the majesty of his love. Labor is a Holy Work, a co-working with God in the most profound way as He ordains to reflect Triune love by bringing life into creation through us: self-giving love brings life! The powerful testimony of endurance and faith displayed by my wife and the birth of our beautiful son was the single greatest experience of my life. With that said, my wife and I cannot imagine walking through this difficult and joyful experience without the wisdom, comfort and support of our doula Joy. As a husband and father, I was witness to something awesome in the truest sense of the word. No worldly payment can compensate Joy's loving service as a true co-laborer. Joy humbly displayed God's grace to us and faithfully followed His calling in walking with us as a guide to new life. There is a heavenly reward for those who aid others in God’s call to “be fruitful and multiply”.
