We are so glad Deep was there during the birth of our son. Being first time parents we didn't know what to expect. I had been diagnosed with preeclampsia which came as a shock and was not mentally prepared to be induced at 37 weeks. We faced a challenging birth between not having enough beds in the hospital and multiple methods of induction not working. Through three days of labor in the hospital (some of that time was spent in a chair and also in a triage bed) Deep was there to support, and helped guide my husband to show him to to comfort me as well. It was incredibly comforting to have her there, and I would credit her presence for being the reason why I wasn't traumatized by my birth. Despite needing an emergency c section I felt like I had support and she always encouraged me to advocate for myself. She also helped bring and set up a tens machine and even went to the store to pick up pads for them since we hadn't prepared so far in advance. She was constantly checking in with me and reminding me to change positions, drink water, take small walks every hour or so etc. I could not recommend her enough. Thank you Deep!!
