After speaking with Christin about what I envisioned, I reviewed each doula’s descriptions online and requested time to chat with 2 of doula’s that spoke the most to me. Both women were phenomenal and excellent options making it hard to choose. Christin came to our home and guided us through an insightful & detailed birthing class. Requesting Ashley support, she made visits to our home where we reviewed questions & curated a birthing plan. Ashley was helpful in answering questions providing data & research based practices so that we could form our own opinion to create an authentic plan for our family. Having experienced many births she has acquired wisdom beyond many. Her presence during birth was immeasurable. Providing guidance for my husband & I during L&D. Ashley followed my desired birth plan while being fluid to the reality of child birth. Coming to the hospital fully prepared with an arsenal unlike any arsenal you’ve seen before. From the TENS unit, heating pad, and combs to the essential oil defuser, Ashley had it all. Her calm & reassuring presence allowed me to feel safe & grounded during our child’s transition earth side. Mama & Baby weren’t her only concern. Her support extended to my husband, ensuring he & I felt connected as we experienced parenthood for the first time. After delivery Ashley continued to support us checking in throughout postpartum including a visit to check in on Mama, Dad & Baby.
