When Willow Midwives suggested we consider a doula, we weren’t sure it was necessary. We thought we could handle it ourselves. But after finding Laura Griffis’ page, we immediately knew we had to reach out. Learning that she partnered with Lindsay Taylor and that we’d benefit from their combined expertise during the prenatal period made the decision even easier. They offered invaluable advice on stretches, baby positioning, and answered every question with care and knowledge.
When the big day came, Laura was with us from hour one of day one to hour 53 of day three. She seamlessly partnered with the midwives on staff and worked alongside my husband, Steve, to communicate with me so I could remain serene and fully immersed in my birthing experience. Laura kept me hydrated, nourished, and supported at every turn, all while empowering Steve to be the best partner possible. She ensured he stayed fed, hydrated, and fully present, so he never had to leave my side.
On top of her incredible support, Laura captured priceless photos and videos of the birth and beautifully documented our journey. Thanks to Laura and Lindsay, we were also referred to a phenomenal CST practitioner who’s been vital in helping our little one thrive. We had a specific vision for our birth experience, and because of these two amazing women, it exceeded our wildest dreams. We will cherish their care and partnership forever.
