I can't recommend The Birth Collective and their trio of Doulas enough! They meet with you in your final trimester to help review what you want for your birth and talk you through what to expect, which was so appreciated as first time expecting parents. They were a great resource to reach out to with any questions during our pregnancy to help us feel as prepared as we could. Their recommendations helped me prepare both physically and mentally for the home birth I wanted, and without their recommendations I don't think we would have had the birth we got! We had the privlidge of having Bree as our doula during our home birth. She was so supportive and without her help we would not have had the safe and joyful birth we did. She arrived and immediately provided emotional and physical support, reminded me how to advocate for what I wanted, set boundaries to keep me safe while we waited for our midwife, helped my husband prepare the final supplies needed right before our daughter arrived, and worked seamlessly with our midwives. The Birth Collective have continued to be an amazing group to reach out to with the multitude of questions my husband and I have had post partum as new parents. In addition to all this the photos Bree captured are so lovely and have been amazing to use when reflecting back on our birth.
