We worked with Caryn as our birth doula as we got ready to welcome our daughter in 2024.
From our first meeting, Caryn brought an experienced point of view, delivered with tremendous empathy, kindness, and patience. She diligently listened to all our questions and concerns, made note of extra resources that would help, and was always available to assist.
Contractions escalated quickly the morning my daughter came and I was a little worried Caryn would not be there to help but luckily the timing worked out and she was able to join. I'm so thankful she was as I had some difficulty with pushing and she provided many different options and variations to meet me where I was in each moment. She was steadfast in protecting the birth experience I wanted, and which we spent a lot of time talking about. She worked effectively with hospital staff, and looked out for both me and my husband throughout the process.
Caryn brings a confident but still gentle and warm energy that I really enjoyed and needed during pregnancy, labor and delivery, as well as in the early weeks of postpartum, and I hope other families are lucky enough to experience working with her.
