Shaina was an amazing doula for all facets of the birth process. As a first time dad, she helped provide insights on how I could best help my wife with stretches and pain management during the second and third trimester. On the day of our baby's birth, Shaina was with us 24+ hours and never lost her energy and spirit. She was an expert on how to utilize different positions during labor (even with an epidural). Her presence allowed me to take breaks as needed and just be present with my wife. During the pushing phase, she was so helpful with different positions that allowed my wife to find what worked best for her. She also helped enhance the vibes in our room with mood lighting and aromatherapy. Every nurse who helped us during the pregnancy commented on how amazing Shaina was, and we totally agree! Finally, during the postpartum follow-up, she was very helpful for troubleshooting our problems and providing good context for the issues we were experiencing regarding bottle feeding, spit up, postpartum recovery, etc. Highly recommend having Shaina as your doula.
