As a first-time mom, Shaina was an incredible member of my pregnancy/labor and delivery support team, and I can't imagine how different my journey would've been without her. During pregnancy, she provided my husband and I with ample guidance, resources, and exercises to prepare for labor. I had a long labor and pushed for many hours, and Shaina was there along side us the entire time. She was very helpful in repositioning me after I got my epidural. When I needed extra encouragement to get through the final difficult hours of my labor, she found the right words to make me feel supported and empowered. She also created a calming ambience in the room with (flameless) candles, essential oils, music, and delightful conversation. She took the most precious photos/videos during and after labor that our family will cherish forever. And she checked in with us after delivery and offered very helpful postpartum guidance and support. Our nurses and healthcare team also commented on how great our doula was, and we couldn't agree more! I feel so grateful to have found Shaina and would highly recommend her to any family.
