Testimonial for Nikki Reeves (ICEA doula)
Nikki helped welcome our sweet baby boy on New Year's Day. We took birthing classes with her and then had the pleasure of having her as our doula on the day I went into labor. My husband and I honestly would have been lost without Nikki. She taught us so much prior to the big day that we felt well equipped walking into the hospital. On the day of, Nikki was right by our side through my entire labor. She was a calm and steady presence and knew exactly what to do every step of the way. She helped guide my husband in making sure I was as comfortable as possible and ensured I tried all different laboring positions to help our baby arrive. At the very end of labor, we ended up in a scary situation (absolutely nothing to do with Nikki) and she never once left my side. My husband went to the NICU with our newborn while she stayed with me as I needed further medical attention. Without Nikki, I would have been alone and far more afraid. Thankfully, everything turned out just fine for me and baby in the end. We can't put into words how thankful we are for her support and knowledge and recommend her a thousand times over.
