Catholine Look served as my birth and post partum doula and I am profoundly grateful to her. While I cannot fully describe the benefit I received from her service in 2000 characters, my brief description is that Catholine is a knowledgeable and caring advocate to her clients.
Catholine has many years of experience in the medical profession generally and birth work in particular. As a patient, there were times that I was overwhelmed by my hospital experience. Catholine was helpful in creating space for me to ask questions of my medical providers so that I could make informed decisions. Simply, Catholine knows her stuff and helped me not get railroaded. She pushed to make sure that my providers were providing the care that I needed.
There were many aspects of my pregnancy, labor/delivery and postpartum period that were stressful as a first time mother. Catholine listened to me as a shared my fears and concerns and as well my excitment and joy.
I truly believe that I am a better mother because of working with Catholine.
