Deciding to go with Liz as my doula was one of the best decisions I made! She helped to make me feel educated and informed with the different stages of labour and what to expect as well as making me feel empowered in my birth preferences. She made me feel so supported and loved throughout my entire labour, and just having her prescence there made me feel so peaceful. I was able to completely lean on her for strength during the moments where I felt like I didn't have it in me anymore, I truly don't know what I would have done if she wasn't in the room with me. It was also so valuable being able to ask her questions about breastfeeding during the first few weeks with my newborn!
