Diana is absolutely, truly an INCREDIBLE doula. I had an extremely difficult birth with my first child that resulted in a C-section, so when pregnant with my second child in 2022 (I'm a bit late on my review - motherhood!) I assumed I would need to do a repeat C-section and that was the plan up until about 8 months along when I changed my mind and decided to peruse a VBAC. Knowing this would be more challenging, it was important to me to have as much support as possible from a doula with experience with VBACs and we truly hit the jackpot with Diana. I went into labor earlier than expected, so the first time Diana and I met in person was actually when I was already in labor and admitted to the hospital. Even with that being the first time we met, I immediately felt calm and confident having her by my side. She helped us make decisions as my labor progressed, helped with different positions to keep things moving along, and made sure I was comfortable with each step. Diana is brilliant, easy to connect with, and an incredible advocate. In the end I was able to successfully deliver my daughter via VBAC and truly feel I wouldn't have been able to do so without Diana. I can't recommend her enough, and I have such deep gratitude for the work she does and the huge role she played in bringing my daughter in the world and helping me to heal the emotional trauma from my first delivery.
