Heidy was our birth doula and night time doula for 6 weeks - and thank goodness we had Heidy! My husband and I are first time parents and Heidy brought a wealth of up to date knowledge, personalized suggestions, and tips far beyond what any book, class, or website could provide. Heidy is a lactation consultant, so she also provided me much needed coaching and emotional support while breastfeeding. Heidy was amazing with our baby girl and is a true baby whisperer! She would anticipate our baby's needs and always knew what our baby wanted when fussy or upset. Heidy very clearly loves, and has a tremendous amount of dedication to babies and her profession. Heidy is also so so comforting and reassuring, but beyond that has high emotional intelligence which made her support invaluable to me during birth/labor and postpartum. Heidy is extremely professional, responsible, and always respectful of my husband and my decisions as parents, but also a true joy to be around - she is funny and interesting, and very smart. She was a wonderful presence in our home and we miss her a lot now that our time together has ended. We trust Heidy completely and wholeheartedly recommend her as both a birth doula and night time doula to any family!
