I’m so happy to share that I’m a repeat client for TBC. I wanted to reach out to them the day I found out I was pregnant with my second. This is to say I had immense confidence in this formidable trio from my first birth and how they made me feel about the lead up to birth, my labor and myself. My second birth was equally remarkable with Austin’s expert guidance. She was at my son’s birth too 2+ yrs prior! Austin knew exactly what I needed or was feeling almost 5-10 seconds before I could verbalize it. She kept me motivated and empowered throughout my labor. I felt like a total badass birthing my children into this world (like every mom should!) TBC will make you feel that way <3
Where I’m from there is a folklore about a woman in labor being assisted by a divine presence that shows up as the woman’s mom. When I relayed my birth experience to my aunt, she said she had prayed to this specific divine power for my smooth delivery given I lost my mom a couple of years ago. She feels strongly that I was meant to have a Doula (thanks to her prayers, of course!) and I agree <3
