Shamikaaaaaa is heaven sent. After having a terrible experience with our first Doula we prayed that we would find someone to help us finish out our pregnancy. After searching high and low we stubble upon Shamika and I am sure it was meant to be. We explained to her what we were currently dealing with and our current expectations. She listened thoroughly and executed very well. She was on top us ensuring we had our appts scheduled so that we can get ball rolling. She entered our home with great energy and gave us a lot of tips, tricks, and visuals. She demoed each exercise that would help induce my labor naturally. Sent me products I can buy to help and gave me the confidence I didnt know I needed. Once the time came I gave her a call really early in the am (in which she ANSWERED). I told her how plans have changed and what we had discussed in my BP was not going in that direction. Again she gave me confidence and told me she was on her way just keep her updated as best I can. Seeing her and my partner before entering the OR was comforting. After delivering my child via c-section she was there in my recovery room caring for me. My partner had to stay with the baby and we were so grateful to have her. She was my voice when I didnt have one and truly advocated for me. She kept me calm so that I can sleep and just reassured me about everything. She greatly cared for me for post partum. Look no further and BOOK you will not regret it.
