Nicole was an incredible support for our family before during and after the birth of our daughter in October 2024. If I could sum up one word for each time period in order it would be: educational, grounding, practical. Overall I would use the phrase/words non-judgemental, calm and empowering to describe Nicole's disposition. She is very experienced and we found her so helpful in our marathon birth - her back up doula is also great. Highlights include a great blog of essentials to buy on her blog and creating an empowering birth plan/wishes with her. The icing for us was her template for visitors and/or support people after birth and we edited it, laminated and stuck it on our door and it was so helpful. It was a list of what we expected of visitors and also what they could expect of us - took the stress right out of one of the most challenging phases - postpartum. To conclude, Nicole was also incredibly punctual and available via text message for any of our concerns. We would think of some questions to ask her and ended up having more as they came up and she would be able to answer them all or point us to evidence-based answers as well as helpful tips ex. How do we wear the baby wrap again? Or how do we cope when one partner goes back to work? We felt supported every step of the way from summer to birth up until the end of the year - we recommend her full package - it is so worth it. Thank you, Nicole!
