Brittany and Jeanette were a dream doula team during the birth process. Their supportive and clear communication over the course of my pregnancy made me feel at ease, and when questions or surprises cropped up — like a sudden breech baby at 38 weeks — they were available ASAP to help answer questions and advocate for our best interests as we navigated difficult healthcare decisions on a short timeline.
During a challenging 30-hour birth, Brittany’s warm, grounded presence kept both me and my partner sane; without her assistance baby and I would have surely ended up with an emergency c-section. She not only supported me and my partner physically and emotionally during labor, but also educated us about breastfeeding and infant care 101 as brand new parents in an accessible and friendly way.
