There were so many changes from my initial plan I had hoped for throughout my pregnancy and labor and Austin made sure to check in on me every step of the way to gauge my comfort with the changes, make sure I knew my options, and ensuring informed consent all throughout. She maintained such a level headed, calming presence throughout the entire process and I'm so grateful. I wholeheartedly attribute her support and wisdom to helping me avoid an unexpected C-Section by being able to inform me about alternate/less invasive interventions to explore with my care team first!
When I got my gallery back with the images from my birth it brought me right back to all of those moments! Austin captured my labor and birth authentically and beautifully and having those precious moments documented is something I'm so glad I decided to do.
I would absolutely recommend working with Austin or any of the wonderful ladies in the birth collective and if future pregnancies are ever in the cards for me I'll be working with them again
