When I moved to the area, I was very hesitant about finding a new Doula. I had a Doula with my first two babies and loved her so much. I couldn't imagine a birth without her, but insert Chris. She is a wealth of knowledge and support! She shared papers, books, articles, and websites with so much information. I even learned a few new things as this was baby number three for us. She went above and beyond for us. She reached out to a midwife friend when I had a specific question I wanted answered quickly. The night our baby was born she recommended a local pizza place for take out and even went to pick it up for us that way my husband could stay with me and our baby. Ever step of the way Chris advocated for the healthiest pregnancy and delivery possible. She reminded me of the pros and cons of each decision I would have to make. She worked with the nurses to help me have the delivery I desired. My postpartum visit with Chris was fantastic as well. She folded laundry, read books to my older children, and helped with any breastfeeding concerns I had. If you are looking for a doula with an abundance of information and willing to support you in any way possible I highly recommend Chris.
