Maggie was terrific for my wife and I. For a couple like us, she was exactly what we wanted. We were surprised someone like her even exists! We simply wanted someone to be a support system while also providing some guidance for our first born. Maggie was more than professional in every interaction, yet she also maintained a casual persona that made her relatable, which helped us develop trust with her right away. She is very knowlegable, and was able to break things down in a way that was easily understanable. She provided us with different options and routes to choose from, and she never tried to pressure us into anything and only offered advice, ideas & suggested when asked by us.
I cannot speak highly enough of her. I should also say, I would be more than confident in having her be more involved and engaged in our pregnancy if we asked. Her wealth of knowledge and logical thought process is universal for so many couples and their preferences. For couples who are uncertain about doulas, but would like some form of support - especially for their first-time parents - Maggie is the perfect choice.
