Having Jessica as our birth doula was one of the best decisions we could have made both for birth prep and for having her at our side during birth.
I had planned to have an unmedicated natural birth but ended up needing an emergent induction at 38 weeks that required significant medical interventions. Despite the change in plans, Jessica helped make my experience magical still by setting up a relaxing beautiful environment, helping me advocate for myself, helping me and my husband get me into positions that I otherwise would have had no clue or ability to do on my own, and helping me to stay positive and calm throughout the experience just to name a few. I attribute my ability to have had a vaginal birth in large part to all the pre work and work she did with me during the birth. Looking back on my birth now, I look at it so positively because of Jessica's help.
