Choosing Nicole for our birth doula was one of the best decisions we made to support us in our natural birth. As a first time mom navigating pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, Nicole was instrumental in providing evidence based information and exercises to prepare my mind and body for birth as well as providing referrals to a prenatal chiropractor, hypnobirthing class, pediatrician, lactation consultant, etc. I loved the Body Ready Method program that Nicole uses with her clients. She was very knowledgeable about the program and helped me learn the exercises during our prenatal visits. I also really liked the hands on lactation information covered in our prenatal appointment. Nicole took the time to get to know us and our birth preferences and helped create such a positive birth experience. As soon as Nicole met us at the birth center, she jumped right in setting the environment with the music and essential oils that she knew I liked and providing hands on support in guiding me through different positions to progress labor. She worked so seamlessly with the midwife and birth assistant. Birthing was such a beautiful, but out of body experience for me so Nicole’s photos and detailed notes taken during birth were so special to read afterwards. As much as we prepared for this, my husband and I honestly would have been lost during birth without Nicole. She was also great with checking in on our family during the first few weeks postpartum to make sure everything was going well and offering support. I cannot thank Nicole enough for her support and guidance and would absolutely recommend her as a birth doula.
