Mariette helped my husband and me navigate each step, kept us calm, confident, and even cheerful despite it all progressing in many ways we had not anticipated. Once I was in labor, she was unwavering in trying new positions and techniques, and worked great with the nurses to try and move baby safely out of a stuck position, and eventually we did! Because of her determination, I ended up being lucky and avoided the need for a c-section which I truly believe would have been necessary without her.
