Alice was a wonderful guide and teacher. Her support led us on a journey that culminated in a very healing and positive experience. The birth of my first child didn't go as planned. I researched as best as I could and felt prepared, but I didn't know what I didn't know. Alice provided me with everything I needed to prepare myself no matter what circumstance might arise. Her calm and playful energy set the tone for a very enjoyable birth. We tried for a VBAC, but chose to do a c-section when the baby didn't descend after pushing. I had planned for this and felt utterly calm and happy throughout because I knew this was a possibility and I felt empowered in my decision making throughout. Alice took the opportunity to educate herself on VBACs during my pregnancy and knowing that she was a fully competent advocate was really reassuring. She also helped my husband work through his own trauma incurred with our first birth. She was so insightful. She wore many hats throughout the entire process. I had a fantastic experience through and through and I can thank Alice for getting us off on the right foot and seeing us through to a wonderful conclusion. We highly recommend her.
