During Tanya's first vist before birth, she gave my husband and me tons of useful information about the typical process of a birth and answers our questions with great details. Later on when my ob decided that we need to induce the baby due to a potential IUGR situation, Tanya assured me with a detailed walkthru of an induction process, what to expect and what choices I have. This preparation has greatly relieved my anxiety before the induction. During the birth, Tanya arrived in the hopsital quickly after our notice and ever since she arrived, she worked seamlessly with me and the nurses to help reduce the pains I felt, alternate positions to expedite the process and made sure I knew all the choices I could make. I'd say the entire process couldn't have been so smooth without her support. After my baby was born, Tanya stayed with me and the baby to make sure I was fully hydrated and we were all good. Having a newborn is a life changing event which impacted my daily life greatly and Tanya has been super flexible with me when scheudling the post-birth visit. When she came to visit, she understood all the ups and downs in my mood and comforted me and gave me confidence that things would become better in short time. I simply couldn't thank her enough for her being so considerate to a new mom with her own experience.
I am not thinking of a second baby now but if I do I'll definitely work with Tanya again!
