I'm a first time mom, and I had a successful natural home birth on 12/12/24 with Lauretta as my doula. I truly don't think I would have been able to get through those 25 hours if it weren't for her by my side. With every contraction she was there for me. She talked me through them, massaged me, helped me into new positions, ran me a bath, brushed my hair, and always gave me so much encouragement. I never had a doubt in my mind that I needed to go to the hospital, even when I wasn't progressing as quickly as I should have been, because Lauretta made me feel so at peace and confident in my ability to have my baby. Everything went according to the birth plan we constructed together. Lauretta is a person who genuinely cares so so much and I would 100% hire her again for my next pregnancy. She even cleaned and helped with chores after the baby was born. Lauretta is an amazing person who values a woman's natural ability to give birth, and I am forever grateful that she was my doula.
