Their guidance throughout pregnancy empowered me to go into my first birth feeling confident, informed and fully supported. Justine contributed to my birth experience being even greater than I ever imagined. From the middle of the night phone calls for reassurance once labor started to advocating for the water birth room at the hospital and all of the coaching & encouragement throughout labor for both my husband and me, she helped make birth the most beautiful and empowering experience for us!! Her expertise and understanding of our wishes, allowed us to stay calm and fully present in the moment amidst the chaos of a hospital. The continued care and check ins postpartum were also so helpful as we adjusted to life with a newborn. I’m already looking forward to hiring Midwest Doulas again for my next birth!
