We are so grateful for Page and what she did to help us as a doula. She came to our house for a home visit. She gave us some homework to do ahead of time so she would have an idea of what we wanted our birth experience to be like. While at our home, she went over our birth plan and gave us ideas and also helped us know what to expect. She showed us different techniques that we could do to help alleviate discomfort during contractions-this was SO helpful! I had heard about things like this before, but I didn't know how to implement them, so having Page show us in our home was a game changer. My husband appreciated how she helped us understand how he could be an active helper during my labor. This was my fourth pregnancy, but my first that I was planning to have unmedicated (no induction and without an epidural) so this was all new to us. While I was in labor I was able to text her and ask her questions. She was so encouraging and helpful, and did a good job at checking in with us. I really appreciate how generous Page is and how friendly and kind she is. I'm so grateful for her help!
