Alysa was incredibly valuable during the weeks leading up to our birth, and during our birth experience. I cannot recommend her highly enough! She is so kind, articulate, knowledgeable, and supportive. She prepared us so well for a very foreign experience. Every action she took, and every nugget of wisdom she shared, was to empower us to make our best decisions. To this day I don't know her personal opinions around labor and birth, as she did everything possible to help us articulate what was best for us. We had a very long labor and delivery exprience, and having Alysa there to help us think through numerous decisions we had to make, give us encouragement, and take some of the pressure off my husband was invaluable. Our experience (like most births) didn't end up being what we had planned, and having Alysa there as an unbiased party to encourage us we made the best of our situation was so so helpful.
