Laura was that from start to finish. From the first phone call she was very informative, and recommended I meet several doula options to get the best fit. I had the desire for as natural a birth as possible, but was also comfortable with medical interventions when needed. Laura understood my desired birth plan thoroughly and supported my husband and I in that walk through a very long birth. Because we had information, many options, and someone guiding us when we had time to make decisions, I can view the difficulty of my son's birth in a much more possible light than I would've. Birth is so very difficult, but it does not have to be traumatic. I'm so thankful Laura helped us have that experience.
Laura was that very personable, informative, and comforting presence checking in throughout the pregnancy, making my husband and I the best team we could be during birth, and making sure we had a well setup support system the first few weeks home. Our little baby felt so comfortable with her, he decided to have his very first major blowout visiting her haha. ?? I would highly recommend Laura as a doula and class instructor!
