Simone was a fantastic doula! She was incredibly supportive before, during, and after our daughter's birth. I had to have an induction at 37 weeks because of a fetal growth restriction diagnosis, which I found out about only a week before. I was worried about being induced, but Simone helped us tremendously by sharing information about the different induction methods and how I could advocate for a slower, less intense induction process. During labor, she was an encouraging and calming presence, providing counter pressure and helping with positioning. I ended up not using any pain medication, even with the pitocin! I have such positive memories associated with my labor, and Simone was a big part of that. She even made us delicious and nutricious meals and helped put together a meal train, which we appreciated so much. I highly recommend her!
