Experience and understanding best describe Tammy. Her endless amount of experience offered me wisdom to my many questions and concerns, it offered her confidence to not be offended if I wanted something different, and it offered my husband space to take center role in our birthing experiences.
Tammy’s strengths in listening and empathy allowed her to understand what I needed to hear or do, before, during and after birth. The joy that she brings into each space that she enters sets everyone at ease, the little things she does behind the scenes help the details of the day/night go smoother, and her knowledge of staff and birth allows her to advocate for your needs and desires. I cannot recommend her higher. So much so, that we used Tammy for not one, not two, not three – but all FOUR of my births (2013, 2015, 2017, 2021); she was critical to making each birth a special experience and supporting my desires for four natural births. Each experience was unique, and Tammy helped my husband and I ebb and flow with the changes with peace and confidence.
When I think back on each, I am grateful at how lucky I was to have only good memories. Tammy equipped my husband to have helpful roles, providing him with equally good experiences. And she supported me leading up to each birth, and following – making sure we were confident and prepared for the days ahead. I am so thankful we went with Tammy as our doula; she is a gifted doula and a breath of fresh air during every encounter. You, too, will not be dissapointed!!
