Caryn is warm, knowledgable and dependable. She was our doula in March 2024. I decided to hire a doula because this was my first birth and I knew I wanted personalized support in the hospital. My husband and I do not have close family nearby and it was important for us to have post-partum support as well.
Caryn's presence during my labor was truly indispensable. After providing hours of physical and emotional support through contractions, she gently reminded me that my birth plan include the option for epidural. I was/am so incredibly grateful to her for helping me decide when to receive an epidural and in turn, lead to an easy labor with a healthy baby. I feel so lucky to look back at my labor and delivery as a good memory. Caryn understood my birth plan and put it to use when I was not able
After birth, Caryn was our post partum angel. When she arrived at our house, she ordered me to rest (I needed to be told) and would care for our newborn while tidying up our house. We struggled with feeding in those first few weeks and Caryn showed us some feeding positions that did the trick! In her gentle but knowledgable way, Caryn suggested we buy some KEY baby gear items that made life SO much easier. At one point, I handed her the Amazon app on my phone and said, "please just choose the items for me." She became part of our little family for the time she was with us.

She's truly an incredible doula and person. I hope you can share your birthing experience with wonderful Caryn.
