My husband and I hired Ashleigh as our birth doula, and believe she was entirely responsible for how well the birth of my first (and only so far!) baby went.
Well before giving birth, Ashleigh and I went over my "wishlist." She fully discussed my options, her experiences, and did not pressure me to take one route over another. She was very knowledgeable and made me feel certain I was going into the delivery room with someone fully prepared to advocate on my behalf and see my hopes fulfilled.
Ashleigh carried out everything I asked for. We had stars in the room, scents that really helped me with nausea, and after I got an epidural she helped me move into positions that ensured my epidural was fully effective. She was a phenomena cheerleader, and took photos I will always cherish.
She was a great support for both me and my husband. We will 100% be hiring Ashleigh again if and when the time comes, and we cannot recommend her enough. She is a great person to have by your side.
