Leah played such an important role in my birth experience. From prenatal visits to birth to postnatal visits, I always felt supported and cared for by her. This was my second pregnancy; my first pregnancy was with my twins, and I went into that blindly and things didn't go as well as they could have. So with my second pregnancy, I chose Leah to be my doula and she, alongside my ob-gyn, helped me have a successful vbac! She listened to my wants and concerns and helped me achieve what I sought to do. She has an abundance of knowledge in all things pregnancy/birth prep/delivery. I had a slightly difficult delivery which made me even more appreciative of Leah and her skills. I was able to ask her questions and get her advice through the labor process. I will forever be grateful that I had Leah on my 'birth team'!
