This was my 3rd birth & I wanted to try to go unmedicated, but knew I needed extra support. I came across North Dallas Doulas on social media & reached out & sweet Laura was the one that contacted me. I knew I wanted a doula that had experience & a bit of authority since my OB & hospital aren't the most open to natural labor & unmedicated birth. Laura was all of that & more! I struggle with anxiety, but with each meeting & interaction Laura calmed my nerves & reassured me; I always left feeling so positive & at peace. I ended up having to be induced which wasn't my first choice, but Laura helped me see the positives of it. Her knowledge & experience helped me feel so at ease as I followed her lead during labor. She kept me moving & changing positions & offering advice for how to keep the induction moving along. I felt so safe with Laura there supporting me & my husband. I truly couldn't have done it without her!! Plus her birth photography is amazing!! :)
