Where do I start! Pregnancy was a journey! I really was not sure what to expect because every pregnant woman’s journey is different. It certainly helps and makes a difference to have someone like a Doula on that journey with you. Lucky for me, I found Kimberly, who embarked on that journey with me from my second trimester onward. She introduced me to her book, “My Pregnancy Haven” which was most helpful in knowing what to expect and recording my experience along the way. Kimberly also supported me by helping me to figure out what were some of the things I would need for myself and baby, and helped with my baby registries. She organized my breastfeeding consultation and accompanied me on grocery trips in my third trimester.
