I’m a 40-year-old first-time mom and a physician assistant. My husband, while wonderful in many ways, isn’t comfortable with medical situations, so I wanted to hire a doula who could provide the support he couldn’t during pregnancy and labor. After interviewing Cherish over a video call, I knew she was the right fit. She spent over an hour answering my questions and sharing her approach. I was looking for a doula who was flexible, supportive of alternative thinking, and open to medical interventions. Cherish exceeded my expectations—she was logical, calm, and adaptable, offering valuable insights and sharing her experiences without judgment. I appreciated having someone who could collaborate with me while respecting my preferences, especially since I didn’t feel fully supported by my medical providers. After the baby arrived, we also hired Cherish to stay overnight a few times so we could get some much-needed sleep. She was amazing with our baby, handling everything with ease and confidence.
Then, about three months postpartum, I had a heart attack and was hospitalized for four days. During that incredibly difficult time, Cherish went above and beyond. She brought us breast milk donations and came over to watch our baby for several hours, free of charge, simply out of the kindness of her heart. Her compassion and support during such a vulnerable time touched us deeply, and we will be forever grateful.
I cannot recommend Cherish highly enough. My husband and I both agree that her doula services are worth every penny and more.
