I had a great first birth experience with Cari and the Dedicated Doula team! I started my journey a bit pessimistic and unsure about everything pregnancy and birth entails. Cari helped tremendously with these feelings and getting me and my spouse prepared for the big day and after.
I ended up having a very strait forward / simple birth and I still cannot imagine doing it without Cari or the team's support. While at the hospital, Cari continuously advocated for my wellbeing and comfort through position changes, counter pressure, explainations of what was happening medically, and reassurance. She has very calming energy, was a great communicator to us and the medical staff, and we will be reaching out to her if we end up trying for a second!
