Emily, is a beautiful soul, and is as sweet as she looks. I can't thank her enough. She will always have a special place in our hearts. She supported and empowered me throughout my pregnancy. She provided the tools and education I needed to get through a natural birth. I never thought it would be possible for me. However, she showed me that I can do hard things, supported me in trusting my body, and made my laboring experience a incredible memory.
It's important for me to add that as people of color we can experience racism in the medical field. I wanted to find someone who could advocate for me in my most valuable moment. Emily provided that for us and more. I appreciate that she was pleasant but firm with the staff when she needed to be. They appreciated her just as much as we did. She is a true mama's bear for ALL of her clients.
