We are SO grateful to have found Landon. We had a different doula lined up who decided to go out of town 3 days before my due date. We were pretty upset but thanks to a referral from a good friend, we found Landon who magically was available to help us at the 11th hour. Landon was so thorough at our initial meeting, making sure to undertand all of our needs and wishes. My baby teased us with labor signs for a few days before true labor commenced. Landon was so helpful in helping me through the seemingly endless build up. When it was go-time, she was waiting for us at the birth center. My labor progressed pretty quickly from there and Landon's voice was a guiding light. My choice was a natural, unmedicated birth with a big baby who decided to be sunny-side-up. When I felt like I was losing a grip, Landon calmly brought me back to my center with her soothing voice and gentle touch. She reminded me with her presence alone that I was safe and everything was progressing just as it needed to. I now joke that Landon was my epidural! Couldn't be more grateful that our original doula flaked out because we were given the best gift of finding Landon! Thank you Landon, we love you!!
