Whenever we had to make difficult decisions during our preganancy (e.g., an elective amniocentisis, an induction due to elevated BP), she was there every step of the way, offering the pros and cons, scientific evidence and statistics, and support of whatever decision we made. She cultivated a relationship where no question ever felt too silly, where we felt fully comfortable with her, and trusted her during this often nerve-racking time. Not to mention, she has been so incredibly helpful postpartum as well - both with caring for our baby and ourselves.
