Justine is the absolute best person to have by your side. She is caring while also being upfront and honest. She is skilled at communicating with medical care providers to ensure that your birth is as close to what you desire as possible. She made me feel empowered to have the experience I desired and helped me to reflect on everything afterwards. When we reached our last visit, Justine truly felt like family, and it was hard to see her go.
Ale is also a delight. While she was not present at my births, she processed the placentas and personally dropped off the most delightful package. We also greatly appreciate the postpartum doula services. It is extremely helpful in adjusting as new parents, and as parents trying to navigate the integration of subsequent children.
Partner's point of view:
When it came to my partner determining how she wanted to have a baby, I knew she'd really want someone she could trust, someone that would listen, and someone that would help guide her through the birthing process. Justine is all of those. She has guided us through 2 births (birth center and at home), and both went extremely well! As the partner, Justine helped me to feel included, valued, and provided me with direction when I felt lost.
